Desensitisation (immunotherapy) for seasonal rhinitis (hay fever)

For patients with grass pollen allergy who have not responded fully to medical treatment with nasal steroid sprays, eye drops and antihistamines, an alternative approach is available in the form of specific desensitisation, including orally administered vaccines.
