Desensitisation (immunotherapy) for seasonal rhinitis (hay fever)

For patients with grass pollen allergy who have not responded fully to medical treatment with nasal steroid sprays, eye drops and antihistamines, an alternative approach is available in the form of specific desensitisation, including orally administered vaccines. To be effective for the 2009 grass pollen season, treatment needs to start early in the New Year. Contact the clinic if you would like more details.

hi,
I am suffering from grass pollen seasonal allergy that I cannot cope with it even though I have been using different products of eye drops and antihistamines so far. And in order to make an end to this embarrassing discomfort, I have heard that the disensitisation is the effective method to get rid of it. I would appreciate if you can provide me with some information about it and if confirmed that is the best way to cope with it, how much would it cost me and when can I make an appointment to have it done?

I would like to know if this is available for 16 year old patient privately or nhs who has suffered hay fever and asthma since 2004 and treatement still unstable.

I have an ongoing problem with allergic rhinnitis, I am 23 years old
I would like , if possible to have blood tests (RAST) to determine what i am allergic for. Then would like to find out if I will benefit by immunotherapy.
